New translators

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome two new members:

  • K. Wiśniewski, who is a native speaker of Polish living in Słupsk, Poland. Kamil will be translating Amaya specification together with
  • Jenny Kastor, who was born in Poland and whose parents moved to Canada when she was three months old. Living in Kitchener, she is a high school teacher and a native speaker of English.

Translating Amaya project

Amaya is an authoring tool with browsing functionalities, which allows the user to modify, copy, paste, or update a Web page at any time. The modified pages can be immediately re-publish (with the HTTP/PUT method), provided they have the access rights on the server. Users do not have to be HTML coders, but they can still create hypertext links by simple clicks. They can paste complex structures such as tables or lists from one Web page to another.

Amaya is distributed in a number of languages. Our team undertook the task of translating the Amaya distribution package into Polish, which should be soon available to the Polish users.

The team consists of four translators working for Tłumaczenia ELTT:
